TOM

Sooo I started listening to Tom Waits because he’s all I ever hear about for some reason these days. The only album I could get my hands on was the music he created for Alice, a musical based on Alice in Wonderland. It’s pretty wild stuff. From what I understand, he has many good albums, so if anyone here is a Waits fan, lemme know what you think I should try out.
Bonus: I love the guys ultra-gruff voice, but about 1 minute of it was all Isaac’s sister could take. I don’t know, I guess that’s kinda funny.

I’ve tried to listen to Tom Waits, I really have, but I just can’t get into it for some reason. It’s definitely interesting music, but I don’t know, it just didn’t work for me.
But, I like that he did the soundtrack for Alice. I like that a lot actually. I might have to check that out.
I have a couple albums of his downloaded if you want them.
His best album in my opinion is Rain Dogs. The opening track is Singapore which sounds like a crazy pirate chanty. Jockey full of bourbon is a great song and my favorite of the album would have to be Diamonds and Gold. Great Album!!
Well I got a hold of some of his albums…. Alice, Bone Machine, Mule Variations, Blood Money, and Small Change. I’ve listened to all but Blood Money now. Pretty good stuff, but I’ll have to give it more listens, and maybe check out those albums Justin mentioned.
also Swordfishtrompbones and Real Gone are two other albums i really enjoy. I really liked Alice and Bone Machine and I used to have the newest three disc set, Orphans, Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards which contains some crazy tracks.
MMMMYY HEAAAAAD IS A SPPPPPINNNNIN ROUND!
